Using Different Dye Lot Balls :
If you have balls of yarn from different dye lots, we recommend you use them as follows:
Alternate the balls: Knit with one ball from each dye lot and switch your yarn every 2 rows. This way, if there is any colour variation between your balls, the two colours will gradually blend together, resulting in a consistent effect.
For ribbing: If the pattern allows, you can knit the ribbing with the ball from the different dye lot. As ribbing has a different texture, it will disguise any potential colour variation, giving a more subtle result.
